Local Info

The Villa is located on a private estate, with street lighting and laid roads. The estate is of large houses, some holiday homes and some permanent residences. Take a short stroll through the orange groves to find the charming local village, Adsubia, with it's restaurants, banks, grocers, bakery, butchers and chemist with English Speaking pharmacist. There is also a doctor's surgery. For the children there is a play area and football and tennis courts.

Within 10 minutes drive you will find the town of Pego, with Supermarkets, restaurants, shops, a thriving street market, safari park and beach and nightlife.

It is easy to eat locally, with wine, for £4 per person.

For the traditionalist , one of the oldest bullrings in Spain is close by at Ondara.

We recommend a visit to the beautiful, tree-lined paseo, where children can play safely while the adults drink coffee at the cafe or indulge the whole family at the ice cream stall - the range of flavours is mouth-watering!

There are beautiful sandy beaches within a 15 minute drive.

There are 4 excellent local golf courses, including the Oliva Nova Championship Golf Course, designed by Severiano Ballesteros.

There is also a modern, 24 hour Medical Centre where staff speak English and where, if you have a E111 card (free to British Passport Holders) you will be able to access free medical care. .

Should you wish to explore further afield, there is the excellent Terra Mitica Theme Park, Mundomar (Sea World) and Aqualandia Water Park ,all within an hour's drive.

The Villa is approximately equi-distant to Valencia and Alicante airports at about an hour's, very easy journey and Murcia airport is approx 1 and 3/4 hours away. The motorway is a 10 minute drive from the villa.
